Having ignited the anger of Diana, goddess of the hunt, the king must sacrifice his own daughter, Iphigenia, to protect his crew, setting in motion the downfall of one of the most powerful families of the Greek mythology.<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00c9lectre et Iphig\u00e9nie tells the story of two of Agamemnon\u2019s daughters using music from both Gluck and Mozart\u2019s most dramatic opera arias. Conceived by Nicolas Ellis, the concert will be staged in collaboration with lighting designer and visual artist Flavie Lem\u00e9e. Taken out of their original operatic contexts, the characters of both sisters will be brought to life by internationally renowned soprano Karina Gauvin.<em> \u00c9lectre et Iphig\u00e9nie<\/em> delves
