{"id":5390,"date":"2022-11-03T11:06:29","date_gmt":"2022-11-03T15:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/orchestreagora.com\/?p=5390"},"modified":"2023-02-17T11:26:16","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T16:26:16","slug":"concerts-workshop-for-the-gerontopsychiatry-department","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/orchestreagora.com\/en\/concerts-workshop-for-the-gerontopsychiatry-department\/","title":{"rendered":"Concert-workshops for the gerontopsychiatry department"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This season, we are starting a new partnership with the geriatric psychiatry department of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Institut_universitaire_en_sant%C3%A9_mentale_de_Montr%C3%A9al\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>University Institute of Mental Health in Montreal<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, where we will be offering concert-workshops to the hospital&#8217;s patients. The patients of the geriatric psychiatry department are followed for psychiatric illnesses (depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, psychosis, schizophrenia) and cognitive illnesses (dementia of all kinds).<br \/>\n<!--more-->Each month, these moments of music offered by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/orchestreagora.com\/chefs-de-section\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our musicians<\/a><\/span> will give a moment of rest to both patients and caregivers. In parallel to this new partnership, our monthly concert-workshops at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.exp.com\/experience\/detention-centre-bordeaux-prison-of-montreal-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Montreal Detention Centre<\/span><\/a> (Bordeaux Prison) will continue for a second year.
