Mentorship at Musique à l’Unisson
Musique à l’Unisson is a program that provides music lessons to elementary school students in Pointe-Saint-Charles and Villeray. Driven by a mission of accessibility, the initiative promotes inclusive, collective, and caring learning.
This collaboration aims to support children’s development and to offer them equitable access to high-quality music education. Through group learning, young people build both artistic and social skills, while strengthening their confidence and sense of belonging.
Since 2023, the Orchestra has also offered concert-workshops directly to students, including discovering instruments and repertoires, engaging in conversations with the musicians, and sharing questions and impressions. These encounters are often deeply inspiring, especially when young people see themselves represented and can envision a future musical path.
Orchestre de l’Agora is proud to contribute to this community initiative, in line with its values of transmission, inclusion, and social transformation through music.
