Orchestre de l’Agora wishes to multiply its social actions through music in order to contribute to a more responsible, equitable and sustainable society.
How will the funds raised be invested?
Orchestre de l’Agora works with many community organizations to bring music to marginalized groups and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through existing partnerships with women’s shelters, prisons, health care facilities, schools and other youth programs, funds raised will be used to increase the number of workshops our musicians hold in the Montreal community. Culture acts as a powerful revealer of our humanity and music, beyond the art itself, can have a therapeutic and beneficial influence for all.
