Big Bang #2 – Sommet de la création

For its 2nd edition of the Big Bang – Sommet de la création, the Agora promises an explosive and surprising evening with spectacular lighting and projections. On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, this concert will showcase its musicians as soloists! You will have the chance to hear David Brongo in a percussion concerto by Nicolas Gilbert, and Victor Alibert in a klezmer clarinet concerto by Wlad Marhulets.

Also featured in the program is the magnificent vocal cycle Le Récital des Anges by composer Ian Cusson. Originally written for piano and voice, Ian has revisited his work to adapt it specifically for l’Orchestre de l’Agora. Soprano Elisabeth St-Gelais will perform these beautiful songs based on poems by Émile Nelligan.
