Gala de la terre pour les enfants, a benefit concert of the Orchestre de l’Agora, will be presented at the Maison Symphonique on June 22, 2022, bringing together on stage the brilliant Canadian contralto Marie-Nicole Lemieux, two women’s choirs (Ensemble Gaïa and Voix Paralèlles), three children’s choirs, (Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, Petites Voix du Plateau and le Choeur des enfants de Montréal) and 96 musicians, in Gustav Mahler’s sumptuous Third Symphony, under the direction of Conductor and Artistic Director Nicolas Ellis.
The Gala ambassadors are actress Pascale Bourbeau and explorer Bernard Voyer.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to UNICEF Canada, Nature Conservancy Canada and Sierra Club Canada Foundation.
