The Agora Quartet
Chamber Music
Composed of young and talented musicians among the finest of the current generation, the Quatuor à cordes de l’Agora presents a vibrant and energetic new chamber music program at the crossroads of jazz and classical.
Formed by the principal chairs of the Orchestre de l’Agora (under the direction of Nicolas Ellis, conductor and artistic director), this dynamic quartet has built a solid reputation based on artistic excellence and community engagement. Its numerous outreach projects include a monthly concert series at the Bordeaux Prison in Montreal, educational workshops with the children of Partageons l’espoir, and many other awareness activities.
