The 2024 Gala de la Terre was an unforgettable evening, highlighted by a powerful new work by Claudie Bertounesque dedicated to the preservation of the St. Lawrence River belugas. Presented at the Maison symphonique de Montréal, this creation, blending music and environmental commitment, deeply moved the audience.
On June 12, the third edition of The Gala de la Terre was held at the Maison Symphonique. We are very proud to announce that Orchestre de l’Agora will generously donate $120,000 to its three beneficiary environmental organizations: GREMM, WWF-Canadaand Sierra Club Canada.

Buoyed by its Juno Award for Classical Album of the Year in 2022 (for Viola Borealis) and its Opus Prize for Musical Event of the Year in 2022 (for the Gala de la Terre pour les enfants during its 9th season), the Orchestre de l’Agora (OA) today announces the program for its 10th season. The OA will present four ambitious concerts, while at the same time keeping up its social commitment through various projects and concerts in the community. From Monteverdi to new music to leading works of the symphonic repertoire—like Strauss’s An Alpine Symphony—, the OA is presenting a diverse series of exciting concerts in 2023-2024.
On Monday, May 8th at 7pm, the final performance of the music creation workshop will be presented at the Salle de Récital of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal.
