Recently arrived in Montreal, Charlotte Fellous joined the team of the Orchestre de l’Agora in February 2024 and is currently its Artistic Operations and Finance Director. She has previously held several positions in the cultural sector, such as Live Arts Projects Officer at Hermès, Music Librarian of the Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France, writer of concert programs for the Opéra de Rouen, and Production Assistant at the Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM).
Charlotte holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History (École du Louvre), a bachelor’s degree and a graduate diploma in Musicology (Université de Rouen / Cardiff University) as well as a master’s degree in Business Management (ESSEC Business School). Passionate about music, she also studied piano, violin, choir conducting, and orchestra conducting at various conservatories in France. She was awarded a First Prize for junior four hands piano at the Concours Musical de France in 2014, and has directed several amateur choral and instrumental ensembles in France, the UK, Italy and Poland.
Very receptive to the values and social commitment of the Orchestre de l’Agora, she regularly volunteers for a number of associative projects: co-founder of a free classical music festival in 2018, administrator of an inclusive amateur choir in Montreal…
