Benefit Concert:
La musique pour les jeunes
Orchestre de l’Agora presents Benefit Concert: La musique pour les jeunes in collaboration with ATMA Classique. The online event will premiere on Livetoune on May 23 at 2 pm and will be available for a two-week period ending June 6 at midnight. Proceeds from the concert will go towards supporting Orchestre de l’Agora’s educational projects for children in the music program of Share the Warmth, located in Pointe-Saint-Charles.
The concert program includes an excerpt from Ravel’s Bolero (arranged by Victor Alibert, Agora clarinetist) featuring the musical participation of Share the Warmth kids, and Dvořák’s magnificent Piano Quintet No. 2 in A major with the Orchestre de l’Agora String Quartet and Nicolas Ellis, piano, recorded in Bourgie Hall at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
Learning music encourages persistence at school: support this important cause and enjoy a superb concert!
