The Orchestre de l’Agora (OA) is a Montreal-based orchestral ensemble driven by an ambitious artistic vision, bold creativity, and a deep social commitment. Under the direction of conductor Nicolas Ellis, the Orchestre stands out for its musical versatility, dedication to inclusion, and desire to forge lasting connections between the arts and society. The 2025–2026 season once again reflects the richness of its approach, its commitment to meaningful encounters, and its active role in the artistic landscape of Montreal and Quebec.
This summer, Orchestre de l’Agora presents a series of three open-air and regional concerts featuring the program Fiddlers and Northern Folklores, under the direction of Nicolas Ellis, joined by guest fiddlers Alexis Chartrand and Nicolas Babineau.
